That is also something I've noted with icons: people tend to be really bad at realizing what other people see when they look at them, sometimes because you need to know the fandom, sometimes you just need to know context that was cropped out of the shot. There used to be a meme that went around every so often that was like "explain your friends' default icon" and there were always surprises!

Well, we usually pick icons that reflect something about ourselves. You've got Tom Hardy in the Smirking English Bastard variant. So, tell me, do you like dogs?

I do like dogs! Tho, this Smirking Bastard face is from Venom, so I think he's a disgraced New Yorker for this role.

I think it's probably an actor or maaaybe another kind of famous person. I can't 100% tell if he's in character or not, but I think not, because he's dressed casually and looks like he's just having a good time. He looks amused, and I don't know what the joke is, but he also looks friendly, so that's okay. :D I think you like him. There's an about 50/50 chance he's called Chris (aren't they all?). I think your icon mostly says you like this guy and his sassy eyebrow, which also says you're fannish; and it feels easy-going, like maybe you're not taking everything/yourself too seriously, but any sass is good-natured.
