I bought a German translation of Her Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novak in a bookstore today. I think this might be the kind of thing that gets me reading German for pleasure- YA fantasy and lots of time on the train.

Also, the ad fontes online program from the University of Zurich is really rather impressive.
