I have just finally found a version of the MacAlly store for Europe (because if you search "macally europe" on the US version of google, you cannot possible actually want to be directed to that page- you must want something different), and while I was wandering around Schönbrunner Straße, I found at least three different stores selling Mac products (one of them an actual Mac store. It was a little disheartening, honestly. Because thinking about how much my mom will have to pay to ship the one I ordered in the US to me out here is a little painful.
My morning class got canceled, which is annoying since that's the one class I actually had skipped to leave Vienna early, and it was during the week that everyone seemed to be giving out information about finals and test dates. Which, apparently, can actually vary from the time of the class quite a bit. I have one class that has a final on the day *after* my sister leaves- the semester doesn't technically end till that day, but it's Monday final for a Wednesday class. I thought I would have some free time to spend with my sister, but apparently not. (I might wait to take that final until March. This is apparently a thing that one can do, and I think that it would probably be beneficial to my grade in that particular class.)
I wish Pandora worked in Europe, but it's blocked.
In good news, at least, I love the new coat my mother got me as a Christmas present, and it looks great. It's slightly warmer here now than it was when I got here (47* F) than when I got here on Sunday, which is nice. Still wind chill, though, and the long coat makes me a happy, happy girl.
Note to self: get a list of the names of the trees that the Lumberjack chants in Monty Python's 'Lumberjack Song'- I'm fairly certain I heard "flatulent elm" at some point, and I really would not put that past them.
