And another day begins

kitewithfishWell, it's a day of productivity and mixed blessings. And the last day of the year, so if there is anything to get done, then now's the time.
I stayed up waaay too late last night thanks to a mixture of boredom, comics books, internet, and anxiety. Sometime in the middle of the night I was struck down by a crushing fear of life, the universe, and Austria. Then I discovered that the power charger for my laptop has stopped developed a break in the internal cable, so that while it will charge now if held in just the perfect spot, any motion will send the charge out the window.
I have attempted to purchase a replacement for it that will get here by expedited shipping if and only if the company sends it out today. If I have to wait for Wednesday shipping, there's no chance of me getting it, and my mom will ship it to Austria for me.
Life goes on.
