Animorphs is one I've thought about checking out - when I was about 13, I was really into that author's Making Out series. Having said that, her excessive focus on the character called Zoey (who I grew to dislike by the end) kicked off the pet peeve that I still have 30 years on about too much focus on the same characters while others get very little attention paid to them (Jack's tattoos on Lost, I'm looking at you). Does Animorphs have that same issue?
