Glad you enjoyed The Steerswoman :D The first book is actually the weakest imo (and in a Reddit AMA the author once said if she could go back and change things, one would be [spoiler] and the other would be the torture scene in book 1) but I do like it a lot.

I also enjoyed The Incandescent but that one even more is a matter of taste I think.
