I was in my favorite bookstore the other day and saw a hard copy (in paperback) of Robert Moses and the Fall of New York, picked it up, gaped at it, and put it down again. While I am endlessly fascinated by him (I am a native Long Islander who drives on so many of Moses' byways and goes to his parks), the book is just so damn huge I know I'll never read it, even if I could do it in e-book format.

I tip my hat to you for not just attempting it, but making a reasonable plan to get through it.
