It was really well done twist! Even having an eye out for it, I really enjoyed the execution of it, and lots of other things were unspoiled for me, so I got some nice surprises about the Stewards' origins and the origins of some of the magical items.

I am one of those people who sometimes enjoys a work more after having been spoiled for it - not always, but if I'm not sure about how much I trust an author to deliver, I will spoil myself so that I have my expectations set going in. If the work is good, then I usually just have a good time counting down all the hints until the reveal.
