I guess Arya was the only one that go to do (well) what she was trained to do... It was disappointing that the writers couldn't come up with a better battle plan. The show certainly had the funds to hire someone with some clue about how medieval battle strategies worked. Hell, I think some of the problems could have been pointed out by anyone who has read high fantasy before.
