Hey there, it's Ohtori_tsuki, just thought I'd throw my two cents in.
When I need to do makeup on the go I keep it as simple as possible. I usually take one colour of eyeshadow and a brush, a packed powder compact, mascara and a relatively neutral lipstick colour. When I only put on one shade of eyeshadow it's almost always this pale silvery colour I got as a free sample at Sephora, I tend to think that dark eyeshadow needs to have a highlight colour as well or one just looks really tired. When I'm really busy I skip the lipstick and eyeshadow altogether and just use mascara and powder. It's not a great idea to put something on your lips that isn't intended for lips, there are different standards for what chemicals etc. can be in lipstick as compared to other makeup.
