I am posting from Emma's computer, which continually throws me off by his tiny keyboard and determination to make Internet Explorer once more a part of my life. (*wields crucifix and holy water* Back! Back, foul demon!)

Leaving Vienna was far less stressful than previous journeys- I have done this particular one before, almost exactly. Sometime in the recent past I simply got over my auto-stress reaction for traveling places- it's just another thing to do now. Which is not to say, precisely, that I am slept particularly well last night, or awoke with my alarm- rather several hours before it, per usual pre-travel arrangement. Oh, well, can't fix all my bugs, or I won't have any features left.

(You can tell that I'm tired because I am making all of my dad's computer jokes....)

We've not really done much, Emma and Beanie. I got in around 1pm, uneventfully on the Tube and Express trains, ate lunch, and then proceeded to wander around. Hyde Park lead to Harrod's (where I bought some reasonably-priced tea in bag form) led to the bus led to Borders (where I purchased nothing, but looked in vain for "The King of Attolia" by Megan Whalen Turner", finding rather many volumes of Georgette Heyer novels.) A quick stop for provisions, and I am a sleepy child, but I will take a shower and eat some food before turning in embarassingly early, at the very least.

I lament the lack of Gilbert and Sullivan amongst Emma's iTunes while still celebrating that she is finally reading "A Game of Thrones"- admittedly, I unexpected tag-teamed with another student here to force her to read it, but she is a political beast by nature and I think that aspect will soon appeal to her....
