Jun. 7th, 2008 08:22 pmI've just finished reading Y: the Last Man. I had picked up all 60 issues a while back, but I had only gotten to 50 before I needed to go to Graz- it's not the kind of story that I can take a whole damned lot of at once.
But, I just finished it. And it was beautiful and sad and cracked. It was lovely writing. I don't really know what more I can say about that, but be happy that it exists. I'm going to read it more later, I think.... But for right now I'm just going to let it sort of settle.
Graz itself was wonderful and beautiful and I would highly recommend going there for a little bit at least.
I got back to discover my roomie's side of the room in shambles, because she'd made a mess while I was gone, and I'm not supposed to be mad about it, but I kind of am. I never have any idea what is going on with her, and I am honestly concerned that she's having some stupid personal problems that I, as poor stupid stranger, am going to get caught up in.
Why do Austrians not know about the Dr. Seuss? Cat and the Hat, man!
