I blame... no one, really.

Yesterday, I trimmed my hair in the bathroom. I'm pleased. I basically look like I got a good haircut a month ago, rather than four.

*"Himmel" means both sky and heaven/s in German. It's one of those words that German loves to use, and makes English speakers try to tear their hair out for the inability to tell whether it's being used in religious or secular sense.

** I initially wrote "nature" and then went back and corrected it to the proper German spelling "natur". I've got my groove back.

***Which I know about from... observation. Yes, the observation of small happy children, and I have never felt any desire to emulate them. At all. I have dignity.
