Off I go

Well, tomorrow (or rather, really today) I am going out in England. It should be a nice break, because while I love speaking German (as I just explained to a Serbian guy in Colleen's housing), English is lovely and easy to speak.

As related to the last post. Apparently my roomie Vanessa was not in the wrong- Dani had spoken privately to our landlord about how she would be unhappy with allowing my to move in (despite her assurances today and yesterday that she had nothing against me.... right), but at the same time told everyone else that she would be fine with it at the end of January.

So, essentially, though I thought she was kind of sticking to her guns, Dani was a complete lying wuss. This is not a great thing. But because she was an ass, the plan to move has pretty much fallen apart, and it appears that I will not end up moving anywhere, though my current roomie might move to one room over and her sister would move into this room. So, no big deal.

(Though, given that everyone was assigned new roommates at the beginning of the year, it makes me kind of wonder why the hell Dani gets a say in this at all. She signed up for a double and she has no reason to complain against me, so what exactly is the issue? Whatever. Spineless. )
