Last night Colleen and I had a truly lovely quiche over at Johanna's apartment. Very nice and relaxed evening for all, which mostly ended up in random discusses of life, plans, and whatever came to mind. For some reason I was very fidgety the whole time.
I came home and found that I'd come down with a cold, which has flared into full hateful life today. It makes it unpleasant to go out with my sniffles, but I did manage to make it to Starbucks to attempt to sit and read. However, I soon realized that I was going to fall asleep there because it was lovely and warm, no matter how loud they played the stupid house muzak. I headed home, and then watched about half of "The Fast and the Furious" before curling in on myself in spasm of disbelief- how can one film be so bad? How? It defies the laws of physics to have this much such concentrated in one location.
Anyhoo, I'm not actually hungry, but I should eat something or attempt to read my homework stuff. At the very least I have tomorrow off, and life should be good.
I've pretty much realised by now that the likelihood of me getting to Milan or Jenn Mo getting to Vienna while she's visiting there are very small, and probably not going to happen at all. It's highly depressing to see it work out that way, because if I had just known beforehand I could have arranged something. But having found out too late I just have to continue with my current plan, which is to live a Jenn Mo-less existence for the year.
