(no subject)

I feel like my German turned on over the weekend. I'm still not getting 100% comprehension in conversations, but I'm at least feeling very confident in my ability to haltingly express myself and what I want. Reading is still harder- I can get a lot, but context is not always apparent, and it's sometimes difficult to follow. Much more work in the reading department. I'm seriously considering just buying some children's books in German and working my way through them. At this point, it would have been a good idea for me to have actually brought my copy of "der kleine Hobbit" with me, but I left it behind due to weight concerns.

In any case, I am alive and well and functioning, and I have a test tomorrow that I need to study for. After that, some more hunting for interesting classes.
