We took the dog up on a longish walk this morning to the nearby University on a hill to test the new leash, and it was so lovely that we laid out on the sunny side of the hill to bask. She actually sat down and flopped and enjoyed the sun a bit, and chewed gently on her tennis ball. It was lovely. I kind of wished I had brought her little grooming brush because it would have been ideal to help get her shedding fuzz off.

That's such a nice picture. I'd like to think that one benefit of this slowdown (if not shutdown) is being able to reconnect with nature more often.
