The surgery seems to have gone well! Follow ups are coming, of course, but the obvious potential problems of infection and complication have not arisen so far.
I have helped the brains a little by being aggressively careful to reset my sleep schedule, which got screwed up over the surgery and the days following, and that is helping *immensely*.
