The weather here has finally gotten chilly enough for me to pull out the down duvet, but not so cold I can't sleep with the windows open. In short, this is the perfect time of year and I will be attempting to ignore *gestures vaguely at the world* THAT to enjoy it.

I had a lovely bike ride this weekend thru some newly established bike lanes in my town - they are still just a bunch of cone blocking off traffic, but they are getting barriers soon. A distinct improvement.

Yay, bike lanes! I have also been biking a lot more after finally getting my bike repaired, but we have... basically no bike lanes. But most places I go I can use the alleys behind houses in residential neighborhoods, ha.

I miss having alleys! Smaller local roads around here are usually fine, bike lane or not, but some of the faster ones with more traffic are offputtingly fast. Alleys were a nice little sneaky way of getting around.
