Definitely feel you on the spoons there -higher interaction costs, and maybe higher reward for it, too. But there's also a longer grace period on commenting, and people seem to be more reciprocal? It's social enough that it's an aberration for someone to subscribe to me without actually stopping by and saying hello first. I do like that, even if the time investment is higher on both ends - it feels like an actual engagement.
