When I park my bike in the morning to get coffee, the sparrows that live in the bushes outside the coffeeshop come and perch on my handlebars and frame until I come out and shoo them away. I think the bike frame is warmer than the bushes.

so, the name kitewithfish came from a doodle I used to draw of a diamond shaped kite (think charlie brown) with ribbon bows dangling from a string behind it - but, like an Escher painting, the ribbons change shape slowly, each one more stretched and pointier than the last, until the last few are clearly angel fish
