I'm going to need to put some time into pulling a download of my Tumblr this weekend and wah, I don't wanna.

Does anyone have a reasonable tutorial on this theme for the non-coding user? Bc, when the first step in a tutorial is 'download Python,' well, as Eve said to the snake, 'I've got a bad feeling about this.'

Honestly, I have no clue what to do. But i also have nothing on my Tumblr that is that important to save.
(I also haven't reblogged anything NSFW either. Not because i'm against it, but because i live with nosy ass bitches who like to come in to my room and read over my fucking shoulder.)

This was sent to me as well, and I've seen it recced a number of places, but it's only for Windows users. There's one that's supposed to be comparable for Mac users, but I can't find the link...I'll keep looking!

Yeah, I am honestly tempted to let it all burn, but I kind of want to spite the Tumblr powers that be. There were some good conversations and meta that I wanted to save - if only to have a snapshot of what once was.

And can I just say, this kind of *waves hand* conversation in the comments was something that I really found challenging to have on Tumblr and it's nice to see it happening so immediately again in the currently thrumming DW sphere?

Not that it was impossible on tumblr, but just, i found it really hard to follow and track all the (variously oblique) ways that someone could make contact on tumblr that i would then never see

If i do save anything it's going to be going back and getting photos that i reblogged that i didn't save the first time.

I lacked friends who did meta and such. I never got that deep into any fandom to do that. The most i did was dumb headcanons and the like.
