I'm writing on my puter and my roomie is still asleep and it's not bothering her- ah, the joys of my new quiet keyboard, which begins even now to start feeling less stiff than before.

In other news: I am generally trying to look pretty these days. It's kind of change in my priorities to even think about some of the stuff I've actively been doing during the last month. I've pulled out my contact lenses, cut my hair, stopped biting my finger nails, wear make-up.... All the stuff that you sort of start doing at 14. Only, I tried to do some of this stuff once or twice at 14 and then got bored out of my mind doing it, so I stopped. I didn't seem to get the whole reason behind it. So now I'm doing it, and it's rather nice.

I'm really enjoying the new haircut; I think it makes me look older. It's also about ten times easier to deal with than my really long hair.

hair and prettiness

I am so happy to hear about hair and prettiness, although, I must say I loved your hair and already thought you were pretty. I just wish I could go with you to Berlin; sounds like a ball. And, of course random men will stop you in the street; that is a theme from your babyhood, if you will recall.

Well, thanks, but it's a bit too late.... And I've not have it as long as I had it when we met in a looong time.

So you say, but I don't think that they were trying to give me their numbers when I was a baby.
