It begins anew...
The Wzly in Vienna crew spent most of today working on the classes we're taking for next semester- it's fairly preliminary at the moment, but I have to get approval from both the W-in-V program and my religion major advisor, so I'm trying to get this done fairly early.
So, most of today was spent in marathon sitting sessions where I explained in German why I wanted to take courses on Islam, Buddhism, and (possibly) something on the traditional culture of the Maoris. Then I have to make a similar pitch in English to my religion advisor, who is not going to be getting tenure unless the administration experiences a complete sea-change.
But for right now I'm just trying to breathe in and enjoy the night. I'm full of apple-cinnamon ravioli, which are as strange and wonderful as they see to be. N. and I are vaguely thinking of going to the Secessions Gebäude tomorrow.
